bytefount.com sets no cookies. It uses your browser's local storage for two things that make the site work the way you expect, and nothing else. Because this storage is strictly necessary for features you ask for, we do not ask for consent. The notice on the site is information only.
What is stored

Both values stay on your device. We do not read them on our servers.
What we do not use
No advertising, no marketing or profiling, and no third-party trackers. Fonts are served from bytefount.com, so your browser makes no request to font providers. We use Cloudflare to deliver the site. It may set a short-lived __cf_bm cookie to tell people from automated traffic, which is needed to keep the site available.
Clearing it
Open your browser's site settings for bytefount.com and clear its stored data, or clear all site data from the privacy settings. Clearing it resets the theme to your device setting and shows the notice again.
